Climate chaos? Horse manure

I gather that if things carry on as they are it’s going to be the end of the world as we know it. I’ve never been a supporter of climate disaster scenarios other than when they are made into blockbuster movies where the White House disappears. Imagine my distress then that American politicians [Bush et al] don’t believe in climate chaos theory either - not because IT’S TRUE but because as they’ve lied about almost everything else it irks me enough that we're in agreement without discovering they're actually right. Any debate that is entirely one dimensional and where any dissent is heresy makes me deeply suspicious. And I am old enough to have survived enough predicted disasters – in the 70’s it was petrol running out in 10 years, then it was nuclear winter and now being knocked on the head by a meteor - to realise that most of this creative angst comes from one dimensional post graduate students justifying research grants. Somewhere around 1798 an English clergyman come researcher Thomas Malthus famously said that if things carry on as they are we’ll be shoulder-deep in horse manure. So at least that one's come true.....

Meanwhile, research revealed I am not entirely alone……… http://www.tcsdaily.com/article.aspx?id=032305H
